For a moment, a face flashed before my eyes—the most hideous face I’d ever seen. No matter how hard I tried to forget what had happened, I saw him everywhere I went. It was Loki—the evil god that I’d helped set free against my will.
I should have known that my first official date with Logan Quinn was destined to end in disaster. If we’d gotten into a swordfight, or been ambushed by Reapers, I’d have been more prepared. But getting arrested mid-sip at the local coffee hangout? I didn’t see that one coming.
I’ve been accused of purposely helping the Reapers free Loki from his prison—and the person leading the charge against me is Linus Quinn, Logan’s dad. The worst part is that pretty much everyone at Mythos Academy thinks I’m guilty. If I’m going to get out of this mess alive, I’ll have to do it myself…
This is probably one of my favorite installments in the Mythos Academy series. I don't know if it's my favorite, but its one of the top! This book was filled with tons of action. Tons :) Not much romance in this book, but the action made up for it. So many elements happened in this book that left my mind spinning.

The writing style of Jennifer Estep really draws you in. My eyes were glues to the pages of the book and I had to force myself to put it down. The words and sentences flow together with ease, which is a major plus for me. Now, on to the characters. Our dear Gwen just always finds herself in heaps of trouble. Now in this case, we can honestly say that she didn't do what they are accusing her of doing. I felt so bad for her, being that she is always fighting for her life against the reapers and now being accused of helping them. And those reapers were so relentless in this book. I was 'whoa' they just don't give up and are so persistent. And Logan, things were going so well until that ending. I don't know what to expect in book 5, book I can't wait!

Like I said before, there was tons of action in this book. Page after page of amazingness, which I don't even  believe amazingness is a word, but it was just that awesome! I adore this series and it has definitely become a favorite of mine. And who can resist Gwen's lovely attitude. That sarcasm of hers...I love it! I definitely recommend this series if you like warrior-ish type of books. You know, like sword fighting and things like that. It also has a little bit of gods/goddesses in it and a little bit of magic. And all that equals awesome.

Thanks so much to netgalley for providing me with an eARC of Crimson Frost. All thoughts are my honest opinion.
