Shelly Laurenston, New York Times bestselling author and a star in the paranormal romance genre, comes the eighth book is the successful Pride series, that blends outrageous humor and sexy shapeshifters to create irresistible heroes that readers fall in love with.
Ricky Lee has no plans of getting serious about anyone, but he will protect Toni Jean-Louis Parker. Not just because he’s been hired to do so, but because it’s the right thing to do. And if that means traveling around the country with one complicated She-jackal, dealing with chocolate-eating wild dogs, instigating trouble between his brothers, and having the most amazing sex he’s ever had…well, who said his job didn’t have perks?
Toni doesn’t know how she keeps getting herself into these situations. But even she has to admit there’s something about Ricky Lee Reed that she finds kind of interesting…and downright sexy. Now they just have to survive long enough to figure out if what they have is worth fighting for…
As with all of Shelly Laurenston books, Wolf with Benefits did not fail to make laugh hysterically. The characters the author has creates are some of the best. This book really surprised me because I didn't really care too much for the two main characters in this book and I knew absolutely nothing about Toni. It's awesome to enjoy a book that you really didn't have expectations for! I really enjoyed this installment within the Pride series and can't wait to continue on with the next.
In the beginning, I did not think I was going to love Toni as much as I did. She was an awesome character and I really don't know how she handle all of her 10 siblings and those 10 siblings were a handful! I would have gone insane. But her dealing with her siblings played a major role in the story and made her become the strong minded woman that she was and I admired that about her. That truly took strength! She was a character that made me laugh and loved her and Ricky's relationship. The romance was nice and sweet and the two really meshed together well. Ricky was hilarious! I swear those Reed brothers are a tad bit crazy. His nonchalant attitude was over the top, but made the book SO much better. There was Toni, who could be a little bit of a handful and then Ricky, who was always so calm. But the people who made the book was Toni's siblings and Livy. The constant bickering/fighting between the siblings (Kyle especially) and Livy being the definition of a sociopath was an AWESOME mix :) I loved every moment of the book that they were apart of!
There was plenty of romance to keep my soft romantic side fed. The romance was a great part of the book and I enjoyed seeing Toni and Ricky connect. And there was also plenty of action and entertaining moments that kept me turning the pages. This was an amazing read that I devoured. I could not put this book down and was sad when it ended. I hope there's another story and I hope its Reece and Livy? Reece is HILARIOUS! And Livy is psycho and the two of them together would make one hell of a book. I'm always happy when I see other characters from previous books apart of the story. LOVE THIS SERIES!
I received a review copy from Netgalley for an honest review.

Ha! I like the sound of the title. Glad that you came around to Toni, sounds like she has a lot to deal with but a good heart under all.
