The entire BZRK cell--including Noah and Sadie--has been left in pieces after the last round of battle with the Armstrong Twins, conjoined brother who plot to rob mankind of its free will. Vincent's mind is shattered, and his memories hold dangerous secrets--secrets that Lear, BZRK's mysterious leader, will stop at nothing to protect.
Meanwhile, Bug Man has taken control of the President's brain, but playing with sanity is a dangerous game. The consequences can spiral way out of control, and the Armstrong Twins are not people Bug Man can afford to disappoint.
The nano is as terrifying, exhilarating, and unpredictable as ever. But the wall of secrets that surrounds it is cracking. What will it reveal? And once the dust has settled, who will be sane enough to find out?
I was shocking surprise that I enjoyed BZRK Reloaded as much as I did. It was definitely a step up from the sequel in every aspect. Book one turned out to be a disappointment for me, but consider how much I love Michael Grant as an author, I had to give the sequel a chance and I'm glad I did. I found this to be extremely fast paced and action packed. I finished reading it in a day and could not put the book down. I felt like the book didn't drag on and now I am very excited for the released of the final book!

I believe the reason I enjoyed the sequel better than book one is because I finally understand the story. In book one, I was confused and new to all the weird use of words and technology, but it's like I'm pro now that I've read book two. I was actually really excited to get back into this nano and macro world and I find it all very interesting to read about it. And I feel like the improvement of the characters and their development has definitely gotten better. I was finally able to get a small connection between each of the characters, but I think my favorite of all the characters is Vincent. Throughout the entire book, I was rooting for him. In book one, he was intriguing and a mystery to me and wanted to know more. In this installment we get to see a little bit more even though he's in the condition that he's in. I do have trouble getting down with Sadie (Plath) and Noah (Keats) relationship at times. I like them both now as characters, but I think I still need to see a bit more from them.

Action wise, I think the book definitely stepped up. So much was going on throughout the book and it kept me really excited to see what would happen next. The one thing I would say I didn't like was the POV switching. We get way more POVs in this book than in book one and at times I found it really unnecessary. I think we got in like five people's head, at the least! I found some perspectives really awesome, but I just couldn't get into others. Overall, I would say I am definitely happy with the sequel and glad I decided to continue on with the series :)

  3. Yay! I'm glad that you liked this one-- I haven't tried the series...but it sounds interesting. I have a question, though...are their code names poets? Because that would be amazingly epic! :D Also, just like you I have a hard time getting into TOO many points of view, so I understand about that. Awesome review, girly, I might have to check this out!

    1. OMG, yes their code names are poets! I laughed at that :) All of them take a name that sort of represents them. I thought that was awesome!

  4. This book sounds like it might confuse the hell out of me haha. Glad you enjoyed it though - it's great to find a series that doesn't start going downhill and actually kicks things up a notch!

  6. Book one didn't get the best reviews so I decided on skipping out on it, despite my love of Gone! I'm glad this one is SO much better, great review!

  7. POV switching can be a big problem for me too if it's not done well. I'm not a big Michael Grant fan, but this one sounds interesting! Great review :D

  8. I haven't read any books by this author yet but I really want too. I've only heard of his Gone series so this one is new to me. It does sound pretty good, although I am not a big fan of too many POVs. So overwhelming.
