All she wants is the truth...
Lelandi Wildhaven is determined to discover the truth about her beloved sister's mysterious death. But everyone thinks she's out to make a bid for her sister's widowed mate...
He's a pack leader tormented by memories...
Darien Silver blames himself for his mate's death. When her twin arrives in his town, he finds himself bewitched, and when someone attempts to silence her, he realizes that protecting the beautiful stranger might be the only way to protect his pack--and himself...

Oh how I loved this book! I thought Terry Spear did a fantastic job with this installment. The writing with this book flowed with ease and I devoured this book in a day exactly! AND, I love me a good Alpha male :) You should too!

I guess I'll start with the characters, as always. Like I said before, I love me a good alpha male! Darien was perfect in every way, shape, and form. From the moment I was introduced to him in the book, I fell in love with his character. The dominant personality of his was just heart melting. lol Yes, I just said that :) And unlike in book one, I felt Lelandi was a great female lead. She didn't annoy me at all! Which is a shock because a lot of the females in these kind of book do. They tend to be too 'I can handle myself, but end up putting myself in danger' kind of girls. Lelandi was like that, sort of, but I think she had reason to be. I like her from the moment she handled those three girls in the bathroom at the cavern. She won me over from the first punch! I also liked Jake! And I hope *crosses fingers* to see him find his mate and Silva. She was awesome!

This book was action packed and filled with amazing romance! I'm a sucker for a good romance and I loved every bit of this one :) Each page turned left you wanting more. The thrill, excitement, and suspense was AWESOME. I could never guess who the true killer was. I would think 'oh, it HAS to be this person', but NO, that person would be eliminated as a suspect some chapters down. The frustration!

Overall, I loved the book and definitely will continue on with this series. If you love shifters like I do, then I definitely recommend this series to you! Thanks so much Terry for sending me a copy of this book! I can't wait to read book 3 :) All thoughts are my honest opinion.
