Movie Review: Breaking Dawn - Part 2

Movie Review
The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn Part 2

Hey everyone this is my first movie review. I don't know how I'm going to go about it, but I'm just going to tell you my thoughts since this was the final installment in the movie series. This review will involve those lovely gif images to show how I felt :)

Now...I am not a huge Twilight fan like I was with Harry Potter :) But I still liked the books, well a few of the books and the movies have been pretty good. I did enjoy breaking dawn part 2, but it was in increments.

When I first pull up to the theater, I was like...

I was really excited to see the movie! I couldn't wait :) You know final installment and all :) (Went to see the midnight showing!) The Theater was packed and everyone was excited.

As the movie got started things became.

To say the least I was very bored. I was fighting sleep throughout half the movie, which sucked. The movie was very slow paced to me and  I grew bored very easily.
And all that romance and parts that had absolutely changed from book to movie o.O
-so when did Alice start having visions with the baby and wolves...
AND TO TOP it off the theater was filled with those who wanted to talk and laugh with chit chat the entire time.

But there was some good :)! Not all bad. Now let me say, in the books I was team Edward, but in the movies... I mean how can you resist this. If you can, you're nuts!
And Emmett wasn't so bad to look at either :D

Things picked up in the end and I did enjoy it. That scene when the Volturi came was pretty awesome! I was all like...

I did enjoy certain parts of the movie so it wasn't a total bust, but I felt it could have been better. Some things in the book was dragged out which added to my boredom, but I felt things that should have been in the movie wasn't. Overall, I was happy I went to go see it :) But like I said, it could have been better!

Oh, and Catching Fire - November 22, 2013! What a freaking wait =/

  1. The last half of the book isn't terribly exciting so I think they did a good job with what they have. I also loved when Jacob started stripping for Charlie. The crowd was going wild! LOL And I liked when the Volturi came. It was an interesting twist and my theater was screaming and freaking out but I so knew what was really going on the whole time. I'm kind of sad to see it all end.

  3. I saw it yesterday and it was so much better than I expected it to be and my expectations are pretty low. The battle scene and the last scene with Edward and Bella were great. That is all I can remember. Oh,and Renesmee's hair. Wish I had that wig. LOL

  4. I am going to go watch it this weekend and I have heard semi-good things about it so far. Fingers crossed I like it, and they did a decent job with it, since Breaking Dawn was my favourite book out of all of them! I can't wait to see the Volturi scene and meet all those cool vampires with badass powers! *SQUEE* Excited but wary! LOL ;p Glad you somewhat enjoyed it - it give me hope, I'll enjoy it too! :D
