Love will be tested, lives will be threatened, and everyone Joy knows and cares about will be affected by her decision to stand by Ink or to leave the Twixt forever.
Her choice is balanced on a scalpel's edge and the consequences will be more shattering than anyone can know.

Why I'm Waiting...
I just saw the cover for this recently and remember reading the first one and thought it was a pretty decent story. I wouldn't mind giving the sequel a try.

In this riveting fantasy adventure, thirteen-year-old Jax Aubrey discovers a secret eighth day with roots tracing back to Arthurian legend. Fans of Percy Jackson will devour this first book in a new series that combines exciting magic and pulse-pounding suspense.
When Jax wakes up to a world without any people in it, he assumes it's the zombie apocalypse. But when he runs into his eighteen-year-old guardian, Riley Pendare, he learns that he's really in the eighth day—an extra day sandwiched between Wednesday and Thursday. Some people—like Jax and Riley—are Transitioners, able to live in all eight days, while others, including Evangeline, the elusive teenage girl who's been hiding in the house next door, exist only on this special day.
And there's a reason Evangeline's hiding. She is a descendant of the powerful wizard Merlin, and there is a group of people who wish to use her in order to destroy the normal seven-day world and all who live in it. Torn between protecting his new friend and saving the entire human race from complete destruction, Jax is faced with an impossible choice. Even with an eighth day, time is running out.
The Eight Day was a pretty interesting read. I found the entire idea of the eighth day to be pretty cool. At first, I didn't know what I was going to be getting into when Jax first entered into the eighth day after his 13th birthday, but as the book progressed things got pretty interesting. The whole idea of being descendants of King Arthur and Merlin was so interesting. That instantly made me want to know more because I've not read a book that's taken that approach. The book was a fun read some middle grade books tend to be, but sometimes the book did drag out in certain places. Sometimes all the explaining would start to bore me, but even though it was information overload at points, I still found it to be interesting.

When joined together, Cinderella's slippers grant the wearer her heart's desire. But whose wish will be granted?
When Cinderella’s glass slipper is stolen, Queen Felicia sends her faithful steward Terrance to the real world to retrieve his love and witch-in-training, Bianca Frost. The power of the glass slipper in the wrong hands could ruin peace in Everafter. Bianca must gather every bit of magic she has learned in the past few weeks to find the slipper and protect her new love. Together, Bianca, Ming, Prince Ferdinand, and Terrance venture deep into the heart of Everafter to seek clues as to who has stolen the slipper and why. Along the way, they uncover what happened to the Seven Dwarves after Snow White married the prince, but also learn the awful risk of tampering with black magic and the high price that must be paid for magical aid, even when used for good.
Bianca and Terrance’s relationship is put to the test. Through the pain of suffering and loss, Bianca must determine if following her gallant boyfriend into his faraway world is in fact her heart's desire.
Glass Frost is the sequel to First Frost and it was a very fun and adventurous read. I loved being back with the characters and seeing them all interacting with one another again. Glass Frost was a very fast paced read for me and the characters make for an easy to fly through the book. The book brought out some humor which I appreciated and there was a lot more action in this book than there was in the first and that was really exciting! There wasn't much waiting. Things started off almost immediately and it picked up right where the last book left off.
