He makes good girls...bad.
Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence have made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. His job is simple: weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.
Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal-opportunity collector and doesn't want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:
Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within ten days.
Dante doesn't know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect, he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector…and uncover emotions deeply buried.

The Collector is one of my top 2013 anticipated reads and I was super excited to get my hands on it and learn all about the fantastic Dante! I was not disappointed :) This book kept me thoroughly entertained and intrigued throughout the entire book. I will definitely be continuing on with this series :) And if you're looking for a fast paced read, then you should seriously give this a try. I receive a copy for review via Netgalley! All thoughts are my honest opinion.

I loved Victoria Scott's writing style. It was light and everything came together and flowed to make for an easy read. That's one of the reasons why I devoured this book so quickly :) And of course, because of Dante! Dante MADE this book for me. Yes, he was your typical CLASS A, jerk! But boy did he grow on me. In the beginning, I did not think I was going to like him at all. The guy was cocky, I mean, capital C-O-C-K-Y! But the thing I liked most about Dante was his growth as a character, but I'm not talking about his attitude. His attitude stayed the same from start to finish. So yes, you get all that 'swag' throughout the entire book. But I'm referring to his way of thinking as a person. He seriously went through some major changes and growth, which I completely admired. That's what made me fall for him :)

And then there is Charlie, the girl whose soul Dante is suppose to be collecting. I don't really know what to think about Charlie. I liked her, yes, but she was a little bit TOO nice for my liking. Charlie is the kind of girl who pretty much does nothing wrong. She is a kind spirited person who likes to help others. Nothing wrong with that right? But it was just something I can't quite put my finger on. I don't know, but I did like her a little bit.

The relationship between Dante and Charlie was pretty good. Two completely opposite people came to care for one another. I liked that the friendship developed first and then came the romance/feelings. There was also some great action packed moments in this book and I must say I did not fall bored with the story at all. I really liked the whole idea of collecting souls and the seals that appear. But come on now? Glittery pink seals?! I had an eye rolling moment when that came into play! But overall, I really enjoyed the story and can't wait for the release of the sequel :)
