I was super excited to get my hands on this book. I really enjoyed the Hex Hall trilogy and was really curious to see how the spin off would turn out. This book is not completely what I expected. I thought maybe we would see the world of Hex Hall (the school) again, but we didn't! And I actually kind of liked that about the book. You get a new set of characters, besides the main, and a completely different environment. I thought this was a pretty great start to the spin off series and I can't wait to continue on :) Thanks so much to Netgalley for providing me with an eARC of School Spirits. This was fantastic conclusion in the Hex Hall trilogy. I absolutely loved this book :) I loved every single book in this trilogy! Rachel Hawkins does a fantastic job in capturing the audience from the first page to the last page of a book. I highly recommend this series because it's a fave of mine :)

My Thoughts:
This book continues with Sophie meeting her Dad and staying with him for the summer. The adventure continues with Sophie trying to figure out who is raising more demons and why!

I loved this sequel just as much as I did Hex Hall. Now Sophie's character is always Sophie, which I loved. Her attitude stays the same but you can tell she's maturing and learning as the series continues. Cal and Archer...Where to start? Team Archer all the way! I like Cal, seems like a sweet guy but Archer has more, more something to him that I really love. (couldn't think of the word)

The adventure and action in this book was amazing. Adventure after Adventure. I really like Sophie's Dad, he's a great character. Really hope nothing too bad happens to him, AND Jenna. I'm mad about that at the end! And Mrs. Casnoff, surprised the mess out of me. SHOCKED is more like it, never would have guess.

I cannot wait til the next book releases! Spellbound, just the name makes me want it in my hands NOW! Hawkins, you are amazing!

My Thoughts:
This book is the the first book in the Hex Hall series by Rachel Hawkins. It starts off with a girl named Sophie who gets in trouble for casting a love spell that goes horribly wrong and gets her sent to a school called Hex Hall for kids who get in trouble for using there magic publicly. From there on, she finds herself having a few enemies and has to figure out a way to help her friend of a crime she's accused of and to learn about who she truly is.

This was the best witch book I have ever read! Besides Harry Potter of course. LOL This book had one adventure after another and kept me wanting more. Page after page something different had occurred, which always kept me in suspense. I loved the characters. Sophie was amazing, I really liked her character. Archer?! What the frickin' heck!!!! I really like him, even though so and so happened. (not going to spoil it). And the ending, with Alice....Whoa! And the ending with Sophie on the last page....Whoa!

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It was fun and definitely a page turner! Recommend to everyone. Can't wait to read Demonglass..
