Hot Summer Reads Readathon Challenge! - Scavenger Hunt

Hot Summer Reads Readathon

Hi All, I am glad to be hosting one of the challenges for the Hot Summer Reads 2013 readathon.

This challenge is a Scavenger Hunt and it's all related to summer!

Rules
You must find a book cover that has the listed item. I don't if it's YA or anything like that as long as it has the picture of the item on it.
-Please do not list your picks in a comment. Leave them in the rafflecopter I want everyone to try to find their own covers.
I'm not looking for a specific book or anything, just find a cover that has the item or thing.

Your list of Items to Find
1. Find a cover that has a pair of sunglasses on it.
2. Find a cover that has a girl lounging on the beach.
3. Find a cover that has an ocean on the cover.
4. Find a cover that has some type of an aquatic animal/being on the cover (can be fictional, you know, like a mermaid lol)
5. Of course, find a cover that represents 'summer love'.

  3. I really like This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith, There You'll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones, and Edenbrooke or Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson. They're not beachy per se, but they are the type of romantic books I like to read during the summer, well, and anytime. :)

  4. Loved the challenge! Thanks for hosting! :-)

As for great beach read, I'd recommend The Distance Between Us by Kasie West, Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt, or How My Summer Went Up in Flames by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski! I enjoyed all of them. :-)

  5. Great challenge!

I would recommend Jenny Han's Summer series ... it's perfect! As is Nantucket Blue by Leila Howland. :)

  6. I'm not much of a summer romance kind of girl, so I'm sorry that I cannot personally recommend any books of that type but Sarah Dessen writes a lot of books that would fit that genre.

As for me, I like a good mystery/thriller that keeps me up on a hot summer night!
