I’m Gwen Frost, a second-year warrior-in-training at Mythos Academy, and I have no idea how I’m going to survive the rest of the semester. One day, I’m getting schooled in swordplay by the guy who broke my heart—the drop-dead gorgeous Logan who slays me every time. Then, an invisible archer in the Library of Antiquities decides to use me for target practice. And now, I find out that someone at the academy is really a Reaper bad guy who wants me dead. I’m afraid if I don’t learn how to live by the sword—with Logan’s help—I just might die by the sword...
I really really really like this series :) It's amazing! The sequel to Touch of Frost didn't disappoint! I thought it was just as good as the first!
In this book there's a new reaper in town out to get Gwen and she's once again in fear for her life. The suspense in this book was great, but I had a suspension about who the reaper was in this book. There were too many obvious clues pointing in that direction. But it was still great and shocking in the great reveal of everything, but I am completely jumping ahead.
In this installment we find out tons of new things. Things about Gwen's mother, Oliver, and Logan. And speaking of Logan...He improved in this book :) Not in the beginning of course. He was still the same old Logan, but towards the end *SMILE*. I really like him :) And am rooting for Team Gwen and Logan! Gwen was awesome in this book and her new powers are progressing, which by the way, is completely awesome! I loved the added changes in her powers and thought it was a great addition to the book. And isn't Daphne and Carson's relationship super cute?!
Overall, I loved the sequel and thought it was amazing. I just bought Dark Frost and am about to start it! I read this book faster than I read Touch of Frost. This is becoming a new favorite series :) And I definitely recommend it!
awesomee! Have heard great things about this series, but never actually picked it up :( I really like how there's suspense, even though there were obvious clues! lol! Great great review!
