Bitten by Kelley Armstrong

Title: Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1)
Author: Kelley Armstrong
Release Date: September 7th 2004 by Plume Books
Edition: Paperback

Synopsis:

"Frisky...Tells a rather sweet love story, and suggests that being a wolf may be more comfortable for a strong, smart woman than being human." -The New York Times Book Review

Elena Michaels seems like the typically strong and sexy modern woman, She lives with her architect boyfriend, writes for a popular newspaper, and works out at the gym. She's also a werewolf.

Elena has done all she can to assimilate to the human world, but the man whose bite changed her existence forever, and his legacy, continue to haunt her. Thrown into a desperate war for survival that tests her allegiance to a secret clan of werewolves, Elena must recon with who, and what, she is in this passionate, page-turning novel.

My Thoughts:
Bitten is about a girl named Elena who, by the way, is a werewolf. Living in Canada with her boyfriend, a strange turn of events happens that forces her back to aid her pack, reluctantly. Now dealing with the issues with her pack, she also has to deal with the man who bit her and turned her and also has to deal with the feelings she has for him.

I loved this book! I love Elena and Clay's relationship. Elena as a character is so fun. She also bad ass and has an attitude to match. Clay is my fave. He was so determined. This book was definitely a page turner. I always wanted to know what happened next. I read it in one day. Nick and Antonio were fun characters. They brought in the comedy! Jeremy. Loved him also! He's so calm, cool, and collected. But he can be a hazard to your health, if you catch my drift.

The action in this book was amazing. You could visualize exactly what happened as you read the book. One thing that I loved! And seriously Daniel? Did not see that coming at the time, but after I read it, I was like "Oh, that makes sense."

Overall this book was amazing! I really enjoyed it! And I recommend this series to people who love this genre.
