It's been months since the ghost of Anna Korlov opened a door to Hell in her basement and disappeared into it, but ghost-hunter Cas Lowood can't move on. His friends remind him that Anna sacrificed herself so that Cas could live--not walk around half dead. He knows they're right, but in Cas's eyes, no living girl he meets can compare to the dead girl he fell in love with. Now he's seeing Anna everywhere: sometimes when he's asleep and sometimes in waking nightmares. But something is very wrong...these aren't just daydreams. Anna seems tortured, torn apart in new and ever more gruesome ways every time she appears.Cas doesn't know what happened to Anna when she disappeared into Hell, but he knows she doesn't deserve whatever is happening to her now. Anna saved Cas more than once, and it's time for him to return the favor.

Girl of Nightmares has been one of my top releases to read for 2012! Anna Dressed in Blood was amazing and Girl of Nightmares just as AMAZING :) Seriously!!! I could NOT put this book down. It was just that good. I devoured it :) I would have finished it in a day, but me being me...I had to stop reading it at night because I'm just that kind of easily creeped out and scared kind of girl lol o_O

All the characters are back and at it, but of them all, Cas is there with vengeance to find out what happened to Anna and where she went. That alone made me adore Cas even more. His determination to find Anna and the things he had to go through in the process was amazing and horrifying, but exciting to see. Thomas is still Thomas, but he kind of shocked me in this book. He seemed tougher and more mature when it came to handling some dangerous situations :) Go Thomas! Carmel, she kind of disappointed me in the beginning. I understand the different emotions she was going through, but I kind of wish she went about things in a different way. I know I'm being vague and all, but I'm trying to give you a spoil free review :D But I was overall pleased with her in the end.

I also kind of wish there was more Anna in this book. In book 1, she was a total psycho in the beginning :D She was wild, but I liked that and missed it. But she was in this book enough to satisfy me. She made brief appearances here and there. And those were the parts of the book that creeped me out the most!

I don't know if I am entirely happy with the ending, but I'll just have to ponder over that a little bit more. This book was exciting and suspense and it was definitely a page turner! :D If you loved Anna Dressed in Blood, you definitely need to pick up Girl of Nightmares and if you have not read Anna Dressed in Blood, you seriously need to! I will like to thank Tor Teen for sending me a review copy of Girl of Nightmares :D All thoughts are my honest opinion!
