August Wrap Up

Hey Everyone!

I hope all of you have had a good month. Mine was definitely a rough one.

My August wasn't so great. My niece is allergic to any kind of bug bite. She went to a friend's house and got bit by something on her hand, lip and close to her eye and now all those areas are really swollen. Usually a bite bump turns into one of those puss filled bumps, but her entire hand is swollen. So now she has to go to the doctor. Also, my mom hurt her thumb in early July and it's only gotten worse. She went to the doctor for the like the third time since July because she's been having trouble moving her thumb and now they're recommending her to see a doctor about possible nerve damage We have no clue what's going to happen with that.

But on to bookish news! I managed to read 5 books this month. I only read 2 books in July so this is definitely a step up :) I'm still fighting the reading slump though, but it has gotten better which I'm really happy about. I hope September is a good month and my dad's birthday is on the 7th so things should hopefully be good with that.

How was your month? lol I hope it was better than mine!

Books Read

All the books I read this month were pretty good and I really enjoyed them :)

Sorry about the lack of commenting I've doing lately! Things have been really stressful around here, but I'm trying to get back on my blogging and reading.

Wrap Up: 2013

Hey everyone,

I hope everyone had a great year in books! I finished my goodreads goal of reading 110 books and I'm really excited about that. So I say, it was a successful year! I can't wait to get on the ball for 2014. This year I read quite a few interesting books, some outside of my usually genre, some good reads, and some bad reads.

If you want to see the list of books I read in 2013, you can check them out here. Want to see the reviews on the books I reads, check them out here. See my author interviews and guest posts here.

For the year 2013, I also participated in my first readathons and they were so fun :) I also participated in my first live book talk/chat. I'm glad I got to enjoy those this year! I want to thank all my new followers of the year and also my old followers. And also those who visit my blog and leave comments, whether its for one day out the week, month, or even the year! Seeing the comments makes me happy because I love seeing what you guys think :)

I'm still trying to figure out if I'm going to change my blog design for 2014. Should I? I would love your feed back on that!

September 2012 Wrap Up

Hey everyone :)
September was by far the best month I had this year.
I read 15 (FIFTEEN) books! Actually it was 16, but I'm not going to include the romance book that I read.
So yeah, I'm going to go through and show you all the books I read this month and tell you which ones I like and didn't like.
And if you have a wrap up post, be sure to link in a comment below so I can check it out :)!
Further explainations of each book can be found in my reviews. Some review are not up yet, just check my 'reviews' tab :)

Review Books Read

This month I knocked out 3 review books, which is awesome for me :) I loved The Lost Prince and The Evolution of Mara Dyer :) Both 5 stars! But I didn't really care for Dearly, Beloved. It was way too slow paced for me and I didn't even finish the book. You can see why in my review.

Novellas/Prequels Read

I loved Iron's Prophecy :) I believe you should read this before you read The Lost Prince (find out why in my review) and First Frost was pretty good also! If you've read Intangible like have, then reading Intuition is kind of pointless to me.

Books Read

Really enjoyed Some Girls Bite and Fantasy Lover. I read Fantasy Lover as an Audiobook. I have the PB, but I borrowed the audio book from the library...And it's been in my tbr pile for the longest. Insanity was a rollercoaster ride. It was okay, but annoyed me (2.5 stars) but I will be reading it's sequel.

Loved all three Mythos Academy books :) I'm in love with this series now! Can't wait for Crimson Frost. The first 2 books I had in my tbr pile for the longest and so has Unraveling, which I also loved. And I also loved Feast of Fools and Cursed! I definitely recommend all 6 of these books :)

August 2012 Wrap Up

Hey everyone :)
Here with my monthly wrap up.
This month I read 11 books! And I enjoyed everyone of them :)
Let me know if you have read any of these and what you thought.
All these books, I think, had 4 - 5 star ratings.
